Mecartex is a young dynamic company working in the field of very high precision.

Part of our activities started about ten years ago within the Laboratoire de Systèmes Robotiques (LSRO) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL).

Actually the Mecartex is a partner firm of GF AgieCharmilles Goup and it is established in Switzerland inside the GF AgieCharmilles's facilities in Losone. Mecartex is perfectly integrated in this infrastructure.

Our company works as a solution provider for high precision applications. It offers a complete support from the development to the fabrication's phase. Mecartex's solutions are principally based on special frictionless bearings which allow very high accurate movements.

Mecartex is involved in the FEMTOPRINT project - an FP7 project finance by the European Commission.
